Hi,
I finally received my monitor today so I am no trying to finish up my
new system:
MSI K7T Pro2 mobo
128 PC133 CAS2 Crucial RAM
Duron 700
Creative Geforce2 MX
Quantum Fireball Plus LM 30.0 GB
- Click on the CD-ROM Drivers category to locate the manufacturer you’re after: Click on it and if you’re even luckier, you’ll see the model number you’re looking for: The real mode driver is the one identified as being a 16 bit DOS driver.
- For all cases, Google Takeout can be used to download all of your Drive files to a zip folder on your computer. How to download all Google Drive files at once: Access Google Takeout while logged in to your Google account. Deselect all products and then scroll down and only select Drive. Scroll to the bottom and click “Next step”.
Recycled old FDD
Recycled old CD ROM:
Pioneer DR-UA124X
FCC ID: AJDT043
So, built the system, plugged everything and it boots fine, I can
access the BIOS, etc. So time to install the OS, an OEM version of
Win98 SE with bootdisk and 2 CDs.
I get the selection screen, ask it to start setup with the CD and I
get:
----
This device is provided by Oak Technology Inc
071-91X Atapi CD-ROM device driver, Rec D91XV352
(c) Oak Technology Inc, 1987-1991
Device name: OEMCD001
No drives found, aborting installation
----
I can boot in dos mode from the boot disk but it will not give me
access to the CD ROM. If I try to run autoexec.bat fromthe A: prompt,
I get:
----
Device driver not found: OEMCD001
No valid CDROM device drivers selected
----
I have also tried to boot directly from a linux bootable CD but it
gives me nothing.
Google Cd-rom Drivers
So could anyone help me a bit. I suspect it is nothing major. Either
driver issues (which should be solvable and I am now looking for info
on that subject), or my recycled CDROM is broken and will not work
anymore. However, the light comes on and it does try to read at boot
up.
