I upgraded the memory and ordered a touch screen, an eGalax resistive touch screen. I have windows 8 now working fine, the screen is actually flipped over so there is no keyboard and trackpad. It's all fine, but Windows only recognizes the touch screen as a mouse, and won't let me use any of the touch screen features.
