The Elinchrom Bridge module connected with the USB cable to the computer, for flash units which can be only updated in wireless mode, and which does not offer a USB update option. Set the unit into firmware update mode: The Transmitter Pro (Plug the USB cable into the unit and lauch the Updater). Download the Elinchrom Updater Software To set the Elinchrom Bridge into firmware update mode; plug the USB cable into the unit, press ON/OFF button for at least 5 secs. The white LED light will switch in yellow and flashes twice each second. EL-Skyport USB Speed or The EL EL-Skyport USB Speed Mk-II Wireless Update procedure via EL-Skyport.Skyport Software can check available Firmware updates for the selected Elinchrom unit.(approx. 5 seconds), then press In the menu bar under “Extras” you will find “Update Firmware”. Follow the instructions to update your Elinchrom unit. If your USB device does not work the most likely problem is missing or outdated drivers. When you plug the device into your USB, Windows will look for the associated driver, if it cannot find this driver then you will be prompted to insert the driver disc that came with your device.
This tiny driver utility quickly searches your system for connected hardware. It identifies many different connected devices and also includes hardware which has been marked as 'Unknown' in the device manager.
It gives you a little bit more information about a certain device so that you can find the proper drivers required to get it up and going in Windows.

Unfortunately when we tested an older scanner we thought was heading to the dustbin, it was configured that our old scanner would probably never work any newer version of Windows.
